CATDOLL: TV animation "Plaster Boy" adds voice actors Makino Yui and others

The idol animation "Plaster Boy" is scheduled to premiere on TOKYO MX at 23:00 on January 8, 2016. Recently, the production has added new characters and voice actors. Makino Yui, Kuroda Takashi, Maeda Reina and Sakurai Takahiro will join the production.

"Plaster Boys" is the "world's first plaster idol group" that debuted in April 2015. The group members are four plaster statues that were selected from a large number of plaster statues. They have the two elements of "handsome men" and "newcomers". Their manager is a girl who just graduated from an art university a year ago. The animation describes their struggle in the entertainment industry.

It is reported that "Plaster Boy" will be jointly directed by the industry-renowned screenwriter "Michiko Yokote" and the painter "Ito Ioriko", and it is believed that it will be an idol animation with a unique style.
