CATDOLL: Peach-Pit, a girl group that coexists with Mr. Tamiya, will create a short comic of "Parasyte"

The June issue of Kodansha's magazine "Afternoon" to be published this Saturday will announce that the comic creation group Peach-Pit will create a short comic based on the comic "Parasyte". This short comic is called "Teach me! Teacher Yoko Tamiya", and will be published in the magazine's July issue.

The magazine promoted the comic like this: "Will I be eaten, or will I be educated? I want to 'live in symbiosis' with this kind of teacher!"

This short story is the eighth work in the "Neo Parasyte" project, a tribute to the manga "Parasyte" by cartoonists from Kodansha's magazine "Afternoon". The project aims to promote the recently completed TV version of the anime "Parasyte". Previously, cartoonists Akira Hiramoto, MikiMaki, Miki Ronno and Riichi Ueshiba have all participated in this project.

Kodansha's Aria magazine also launched a similar project, "Neo Kiseijū F," which has now ended.

The female comic duo PEACH-PIT consists of Mari Sendo and Shizuko Ehara, who are both from Chiba Prefecture. Mari Sendo, who has a sharp style, is responsible for the scripts of all works, while Shizuko Ehara, who has a delicate and soft style, is responsible for the storyboards and original paintings of all works. The two have a common interest in modeling, especially SD dolls. Their representative works include "Rozen Maiden" and "Shugo Chara".
