CATDOLL: "Dragon Ball: Super" Akira Toriyama's new manuscript released

Many viewers do not agree with "Dragon Ball: Super", believing that it "completely deviates from Akira Toriyama's style". However, Akira Toriyama recently released his new draft picture, using facts to prove that he did participate in most of the creation of the "Super" chapter.

In a recent live webcast, Akira Toriyama appeared as a guest and showed his new draft after 20 years. Judging from the pictures, these two pictures depict the scene before the opening of the Universe Martial Arts Tournament in Dragon Ball Super. After all the contestants from the sixth and seventh universes entered the venue, the host first asked the "Universe Song King" to sing the Universe Song, and then announced the opening of the tournament. Just a few strokes of the brush showed the master's superb skills, and both the storyboard and the characterization were the same as before.

At the same time, there is a detail in the manuscript: the God of Destruction Beerus stood up when listening to the King of Songs singing the Space Song. This plot only appears in the comic version and is not given in the animation version. According to the program, Akira Toriyama often reviews Toyotaro's comic drafts. These two pages are the only drafts he personally modified. It seems that he is very interested in the plot of "Space Song"...

The animation version of Dragon Ball Super was produced by Toei Company, and some of the plots did not follow the original work; while the comic version was drawn by Toyotaro, and Akira Toriyama participated in the original design. Although Toyotaro's style of drawing in the Super chapter made many viewers uncomfortable, Akira Toriyama's participation in the original design made people find a familiar atmosphere.
