CATDOLL: The new series of "Gintama" animation will have a new theme song in July

It is now June and some anime that started airing in April have started to change their theme songs. The new anime series of "Gintama" that is currently on the air has announced that it will start changing the OP and ED theme songs in July! It is reported that the new OP will be done by CHiCO with HoneyWorks, and the new ED will be done by Aqua Timez. CHiCO with HoneyWorks has sung the OP song of "Seishun Ride" and OP2 of "Magic Kaito 1412", while "Aqua Timez" has sung many theme songs of the anime "Bleach". The new OP song of this work is called "Plaid Revolution", and the new ED song is called "Last Made II".

Gintama is a popular manga created by Sorachi Hideaki. It has been serialized since Weekly Shonen Jump No. 2 in 2004, and 59 volumes have been released so far. The limited edition of volume 58, which was released on April 3 this year, comes with an OAD. Three TV animations adapted from this work were broadcast from April 2006 to March 2013, and two theatrical versions were released on April 24, 2010 and July 6, 2013 respectively. This work is set in Edo, which is invaded by aliens called "Amanto". It is a whimsical human comedy that revolves around Sakata Gintoki, a man with an unchanging Bushido spirit, his companions at the Yorozuya, the Shinsengumi who manage the security of Edo, and his former allies.
