CATDOLL: Anno Hideaki Animation Company launches its first TV animation "Dragon Dentist"

The famous Japanese animation director Hideaki Anno also founded his own animation production company Khara, but we all know that this animation production company has always been producing animated theatrical versions and has never produced TV animation. Now Khara has officially announced that it will launch its first TV animation "Dragon Dentist", which will be broadcast in February 2017. The animation director is Kazuya Tsurumaki, and Hideaki Anno will be the production supervisor and sound supervisor.

Although this "Dragon Dentist" is Khara's first TV animation work in the true sense, the format is very special. The total length of this work is 90 minutes, and it will be broadcast in two episodes. "Dragon Dentist" was originally an 8-minute animated short film shown at the "Japan Animation Exhibition". Later, this short was announced to be made into a feature-length work.

The story of "Dragon's Dentist" takes place in an imaginary world. In the legend of Dragon Country, dragons and humans have signed a contract to help each other. The protagonist is Nonoko, a new dentist who specializes in cleaning tooth decay bacteria for the country's guardian dragon. The Dragon Country is currently at war with an enemy country and the war is becoming increasingly fierce. One day, Nonoko found a fainted enemy boy soldier on a dragon's huge tooth. The boy's name is Bell, and Nonoko picked him up as the dragon's dentist...
