The currently popular July new anime "NEW GAME" is based on the manga created by Shotaro Tokuno. The fourth and fifth volumes of the single-volume book were released simultaneously on July 27, satisfying the audience's desire for cute girls.
The covers of the two newly released volumes are centered on the protagonist Suzukaze Aoba, a girl with twin ponytails who enjoys hugging colleagues and classmates. In terms of content, the fourth volume includes the 39th to 51st episodes of the magazine series, focusing on the daily interactions between Aoba and her colleagues and the problems she encounters at work in her second year at the company; the fifth volume is a kind of "memoir", telling the experiences of Aoba and her classmates in high school.
To commemorate the release of two consecutive volumes, the original author Shotaro Tokuno will also hold a signing event at the MelonBooks Sapporo store in Hokkaido on July 30. Customers who purchase and reserve both volumes in full will have the opportunity to receive an admission ticket to the signing event.
