CATDOLL: China Changzhou International Animation Art Week focuses on animation creativity and integrated development

On September 29, one of the main activities of the Art Week, the "Animation Content Creativity and Industrialization Development Summit Forum", was held at Changzhou Fu Ji Yigao Hotel. 14 guests from the animation industry, including the original team of "The Return of the Great Sage" and one of the founders of Ali Dream City, discussed the creation of animation content and market development in the form of a roundtable forum around the three themes of "animation content creativity, animation IP operation methods, and animation industrialization analysis", and jointly explored the path of innovation and development of Chinese animation.

2015 is a very important year in the history of domestic animation development. The three animated films "The Return of the Great Sage", "Monster Hunt" and "One Hundred Thousand Bad Jokes" accounted for 3 billion yuan of China's box office market, injecting strong confidence into the entire animation industry. "The development of the animation industry is undergoing gratifying changes," said Gao Zheng, deputy director of the Industry Department of the Ministry of Culture. He talked about five changes in his speech: capital is paying more and more attention to the animation industry, the channels in the Internet era are becoming more and more extensive, the industry is paying more and more attention to IP, the changes in technology are making the application areas of animation clearer, and international cooperation is increasing.

China Changzhou International Animation Art Week is a professional animation festival jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. It has grown together with Changzhou animation for twelve years. At present, Changzhou has formed a creative industry cluster led by animation - the Creative Industry Base, which has brought together more than 600 cultural and creative enterprises including animation startups, forming a new form and model of Internet + animation. One of the organizers of this event, the Changzhou Science and Art Fusion Technology Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a unit engaged in animation technology research and application in the Changzhou Creative Industry Base. During the Art Week, it reached a strategic cooperation with Beijing Hongtu Changzheng Network Technology Co., Ltd. on the film "Long March".
