CATDOLL: Japanese otaku demands apology from the author of "Death Note" and gets angry because his name is the same as Kami's

In the real world, have you ever heard of funny names like "Du Ziteng" and "Liu Chan" that are hard to spell and understand? I believe that everyone around you has encountered such funny things more or less. However, such a name is a big trouble for the owner. In addition to being used as a joke by colleagues and friends at gatherings, you have to pray not to be shouted out loud when participating in activities. Faced with these troubles, I can only secretly complain why my parents didn't think more about the name when they named it. Of course, this kind of thing is not exclusive to our country. There are often problems caused by homophonic names abroad. Recently, a Japanese netizen named "Nogami Laito (homonymous with Yagami Light)" complained on 2ch, saying that the author of "Death Note" should apologize to himself quickly.

In this post, the netizen named "Nogami Laito" listed many troubles he had because of his homophonic name with the protagonist of "Death Note". In addition to small things like deliberately calling his name wrong in daily life, he also wrote "Death Note" on the cover of his history notebook and jokingly said to his classmates, "Are you the one who killed Oda Nobunaga?" All these black histories are quite indignant, and people can feel the pain on the other side of the screen through the text.

Although the netizen's experience was indeed unfortunate, it did not win the sympathy of the netizens who participated in the post. They believed that being bullied had nothing to do with the homophone of the name of the protagonist of the comic. Some netizens said that if this stalk can be used reasonably, it can also make oneself popular, so what is there to worry about? In response to this argument, some netizens simply posted the words "Isn't it good? I'm envious!" However, some netizens made comments such as "What else do you want from the name of a handsome genius athlete!"

After reading this post, I can empathize with the situation of this netizen. My name was often used as a joke when I was a child, and I was really troubled by it for a while. However, as I get older, I don't think it's necessary to face the jokes about my name. Or as a Japanese netizen said above, if you can make a reasonable recovery, it should be very popular. Therefore, I think that if the opponent is not maliciously looking for trouble with you, it's okay to compromise a little.
