CATDOLL: Makoto Shinkai's "Cross Road" novelization to be published by Kadokawa

Do you remember the short exam support animation "Cross Road" created by Makoto Shinkai in February this year? It was just a few minutes long, but it was amazing - every animation of Makoto Shinkai is like this. But someone saw that there was something to be done and a plot to be written in these few minutes, so "Cross Road" was adapted into a novel!

The name of the novel is "Cross Road in their cases". The author is Kiriyama Naruto, who won an award for her debut work "The Girl Who Lost 420 Times in a Row". The novel will be officially released on September 29th.

Like other high school girls, Kurahashi Kaiho, who is confused about her future, lives on an island surrounded by the sea; and Takamura Shota, a high school student who has always admired his father who he separated from when he was a child, now lives in Tokyo with his mother. These two high school third-year students with completely different living environments met on the way to the university entrance examination...
