CATDOLL: Director Kenji Kamiyama's new 2017 theatrical animation releases a robot that looks like Baymax

Kenji Kamiyama, the animation director who has become popular for his works that break away from fixed thinking with the "Ghost in the Shell SAC" series, "Eden of the East" and "Spirit Guardian", has released information about the latest animated theatrical version in 2017 today.

The title of this animation is "Hirune Hime ~ The Story of Knowing the Wats~", and the character designs and a background art have also been released. The character design was done by Mr. Morikawa of "The Cat Returns", and the robot-transforming sidecar that looks like Baymax was designed by Mr. Koyama Shigeto of "Bymax", the original designer of "Kingdom Hearts". The specific details of the animation are expected to be announced soon.
