CATDOLL: Aviation safety of airport named after "Detective Conan" questioned

Gosho Aoyama, the author of the popular manga "Detective Conan", was invited to participate in an event held in his hometown of Hokuei-cho, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, this month to showcase the new logo and remodeled billboards of Tottori Airport, which has been designated as the "Tottori Sand Dunes Conan Airport". The airport will begin using this new logo from this month and will welcome passengers with a new look on March 1. Gosho Aoyama said at the event: "I hope this will be an opportunity to gather popularity and stimulate local vitality." Tottori Prefecture Governor Shinji Hirai also said: "I hope it will help attract tourists and become a model for local economic revitalization."
