CATDOLL: BL manga "Wait for Me in Udagawa-cho" live-action movie posters and stills released

"Wait for me in Udagawa-cho (宇田川町で待っててよ.)" is a manga drawn by Japanese manga artist Hideyoshi. The live-action movie version of this work will be released at HUMAX Shinema in Shibuya, Japan from July 25th. Following the trailer released the day before, the latest stills and movie posters were also released today.

The story is set in Udagawa-cho, Shibuya, Tokyo. It describes the protagonist "Momoko" who accidentally discovers that her classmate "Yashiro" is dressed as a woman. Although she was confused at first, she began to care about him. And the young love story between Momose and Yashiro, who is entangled in his interest in women's clothing, begins.

"Momosuke" and "Yashiro" are played by new generation actors "Kuroba Mario" and "Yoko Ryugi" respectively.

The leading male actor is Mario Kuroba, who won the 23rd runner-up of the "JUNON SUPERBOY CONTEST" beauty pageant and played the role of "Kikumaru Eiji" in the second season of the stage play "The Prince of Tennis". He also won the 25th Judges' Special Award in "JUNON SUPERBOY CONTEST". Ryugi Yokota, who is very active in TV dramas and stage plays, will challenge himself to play a man dressed as a woman.

The live-action version of this work will be directed by Noriko Yuasa, a female director who is directing a commercial film for the first time, and the script by Hiroko Kanesugi, who was previously responsible for the film adaptation of the original work "Tosei-kun Series" by manga artist Kazumi Oya.
