CATDOLL: Luffy CV presents One Piece single volume to schools in Koshi City, Japan

Speaking of Mayumi Tanaka's name, many people may not be able to associate her with her appearance at once. But if you say she is "Luffy's voice actor", then anime fans should suddenly understand, right? Recently, she presented the "ONE PIECE" single volume to elementary and middle schools in Koshi City, Japan.

There are 10 elementary and middle schools that received the books. At the book donation ceremony held at the Municipal Koshi Elementary School, Mayumi Tanaka presented the single volume (volumes 1 to 77) to two student representatives. Tanaka said to the children, "I hope everyone can read these 'wild dreams'. And everyone can tell their dreams like Luffy!" In response, Risa Hayashida, a sixth-grader, said, "No matter what kind of strong enemy he faces, Luffy will fight with all his strength. He is so handsome. I hope that after watching the OP, I can learn from Luffy's strong heart."

Koshi City has always wanted to revitalize the local industry through animation. Tanaka once provided acting guidance for a children's theater troupe here five years ago, so he has a close relationship with the local area. This time, when his own theater troupe came to perform here, he also took the opportunity to carry out the donation activity.

"ONE PIECE" tells the story of the protagonist Luffy, whose arms and legs can stretch like rubber, and his companions embark on a great sailing adventure in order to become the Pirate King. The work is currently listed in the Guinness World Records for "the most circulated comic series by a single author".
