CATDOLL: Isshiki Masato's "Piano Forest" manga confirmed to be completed in 26 volumes

According to the information in the 46th issue of Kodansha magazine Morning this year, the youth manga "Piano Forest" written by Japanese manga artist Masato Isshiki will be completed in the 26th volume, and its 25th volume is scheduled to be released on October 23 this year. The work has been serialized in Kodansha's publication "Young Magazine Uppers" since 1998, and after a break, it was transferred to "Morning" in 2006. The work was adapted into an animated film in 2007 and won the 12th Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival Manga Division Award.

"The Piano Forest" tells the story of a free-spirited and talented young musician who encounters a piano in the forest. In the "Piano Forest" there is a silent piano, and only one person in the world can play it, and that is Kai Ichinose, a boy who grew up in this forest. Because of this silent old piano, Kai meets Sosuke Ajino, a former genius pianist whose performance career ended prematurely due to a car accident, and his lifelong friend and rival Shuhei Amamiya...
