CATDOLL: The second season of the popular animation "Balloon Dog Dini" has been decided

The popular animation "Dini the Balloon Dog" which was broadcasted in September 2014 recently announced the production of the second season. "Dini the Balloon Dog" is an adaptation of the popular picture book "The Story of Dini the Balloon Dog". The story tells the story of a puppy with a balloon tied to his body being blown into the clouds by the wind and meeting the "balloon animals" who go on adventures together.

"The Story of Dini Balloon Dog" is a serialized picture book co-created by filmmaker Genki Kawamura and art designer Kenjiro Sano. It was made into a single volume at the end of 2013 and sold 20,000 copies within three months of its release, which is a very good result for a picture book.

The work was produced by STEVE N' STEVEN and directed by Daiki Inaba. In terms of voice actors, the voice of the protagonist Dini is provided by Yumiko Kobayashi. Other voice actors include Misato Fukuen, Chiwa Saito, Fumie Mizusawa, Shintaro Ohata and Koichi Yamadera.
