CATDOLL: The stage play "Mushishi" will be performed in March and the cast will be added

The stage play "Ode to the Stage Mushishi" to be performed at the Aoyama Spiral Hall from March 18 to 29 this year announced today the additional cast. It is reported that in addition to the previously confirmed Nakano Yuto, Kobayashi Ai, and Doi Mika who will play Ginko, Sanpei Yuuko will play Gohyukura Mori in the "Green Seat" scene; Uemura Yuto will play the role of Rokusuke in the "Wild Banquet" scene; Maeda Tsuyoshi and Matsuyama Takashi will play Nijiro and his father in the "Rainbow after the Rain" scene; Miyamoto Mitsuru and Ishikawa Yui will play Masaru and his daughter in the "Flower Temptation" scene; Kako Rinou and Inamura Yuna will play Yoshi and Hana in the "One Night Bridge" scene; and Shiraishi Haruka will play Masumi in the "Mirror Abyss" scene. In total, 9 people have been announced to perform.

In order to recreate the charm of the manga "Mushishi" on stage, "Ode to the Stage Mushishi" invited the original author Urushihara Tomonori and the original team of Kodansha, as well as the director of the TV animation version of "Mushishi" Hiroshi Nagahama and others to assist. The general director of the production and the script affairs of Nakamura Kazuaki said that this stage play will not only use the voice actors of the animated version of "Mushishi", but also will be supplemented by image mapping that can cover the 270-degree visual range and augmented reality technology used in online broadcasts, striving to present a new stage performance for the audience.
