On May 2, 2015, the two-day 11th China (Beijing) Animation and Game Carnival (I DO11) was held at the National Convention Center. As a well-known domestic comic exhibition, I DO attracted a large number of comic fans to participate in the exhibition and received widespread attention from all walks of life and the media. In addition to inviting well-known COSERs and cartoonists to sign books on site, IDO 11 also added interactive and experiential exhibition areas. Among them, the "V-star" voice actor competition booth hosted by Yin Shangyue attracted a large number of players' attention and became a highlight of this I DO comic exhibition. The "V-star" voice actor competition is a dubbing competition that aims to encourage grassroots people and imitators who like dubbing to actively sign up for the competition, and select all-round dubbing talents with dubbing skills, cultural literacy and other qualities. The winners will have the opportunity to dub for games and animations. This is the first large-scale dubbing competition for animation and games in China. At the same time, "V-star" also proposed the slogan of giving love and giving homes to stray cats and dogs, and crowdfunded the event tickets on the crowdfunding website. The money raised from the tickets will be donated to the stray animal rescue station. This kind of charity activity has won unanimous praise from the participants of the exhibition. On May 2, at the I DO venue, the "V-star" voice actor competition held an open audition in the Beijing region. The open audition not only invited four well-known domestic dubbing teachers, including Chen Guang, Qi Jie, Tian Bo, and Li Shanshan, to serve as judges, but also innovated the way of participating in the open audition - contestants registered on the spot and practiced the selected topics in only five minutes, allowing contestants to exert their on-the-spot adaptability as much as possible. At the audition site, contestants registered enthusiastically and orderly and lined up to participate. Among them were not only cosplayers who came to participate in the comic exhibition, but also many tourists and dubbing enthusiasts gathered to watch and participate. After fierce competition, 20 contestants stood out from the auditions and competed in the final of the Beijing competition on the I DO stage on May 3. After the fierce auditions on the 2nd, the Beijing finalists tried their best to get a ticket to the final. In the end, contestant Yi Xiaoyin won the competition with his wonderful interpretation of "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" and entered the final. After the competition, the winning contestant Yi Xiaoyin said that she was very happy to enter the finals. By participating in the "V-star" voice actor competition, she came into close contact with professional dubbing teachers and gained a deeper understanding of the professional knowledge of dubbing, combining her hobbies with her studies. At this point, the "V-star" Voice Actor Competition Beijing Division selection has come to a successful conclusion. The "V-star" Voice Actor Competition online division rematch, the crowdfunding event for stray animals, and the selection of "the COSER most wanted to participate in the finals" are in progress. Please stay tuned for follow-up reports. |
