CATDOLL: Mobile game "Fruit Ninja" announced animation

You must have heard of Fruit Ninja, right? Although we are now seeing all kinds of colorful mobile games, this classic game of the first generation of smartphone games has been downloaded more than 1 billion times and still has more than 60 million monthly independent users. It can be seen on IOS, Android and even Windows 8. However, the game producer Halfbrick may think that this is not enough, so they are going to cooperate with YouTube to produce an animation about Fruit Ninja.

The animation will be produced by Halfbrick Game Studio, with each episode lasting about 11 minutes, for a total of 13 episodes. From the trailer, the film mainly tells the story of those ninja practitioners. Various characters that appeared in the game, such as the immortal grandfather and the honest uncle, will appear in the animation.

But don't expect this to be a passionate show like Naruto. The target audience of Fruit Ninja is children aged 6 to 10. In the official words, it is a "parent-child" game. Indeed, you can often see many children holding iPads and sliding around on it. Some departments may come out and say that this game is too violent and is not conducive to the healthy growth of teenagers and children.

YouTube officials don't think so. Ben Grubbs, head of YouTube's children and education in Asia Pacific, said that Fruit Ninja has a "positive sense of humor" and that YouTube will play an animated series in its own app for children. In fact, as one of the animation partners, YouTube will work with Halfbrick to establish an online "Fruit Ninja Nation", that is, to open a YouTube channel dedicated to Fruit Ninja. In this channel, players can upload their own game videos and records, and even short films such as reality shows.

Real people cutting watermelon, foreigners really try their best to cut watermelon, you can see his expression, there are really many dramas

This reminds me of another veteran game on smartphones, Angry Birds. Speaking of animation adaptations, Angry Birds has been ahead of Fruit Ninja for many years and has been very well received. In 2013, Angry Birds launched a 52-episode animation series, and in 2014, it launched an animation with the same name as the new version of the game Angry Birds: Stella. The adapted animated film will also be released in 2016. However, Halfbrick's advantage over Rovio is that it does not rely on just one game to make a living. Although it was a little late to play the tricks of Fruit Ninja, Halfbrick also has other games such as Jetpack Joyride, which performs well on various platforms. When Angry Birds can no longer fly and cut fruits, this company, which can be regarded as a veteran of smartphone games, will have to find another job.
