The annual theatrical animation of "Detective Conan" is another expectation of Conan fans besides the main storyline; 19 annual theatrical animations have been released this year (excluding extras). On October 24, Conan M19 was also successfully released in China.

Recently, the director of the "Detective Conan" series of films, Shizuno Kofumi, made a special trip to Shanghai. In an interview with a reporter from the Morning Post, he said that he is also a Conan fan, "As long as there are Conan fans, I will keep filming." In response to the criticism that the "Detective Conan" series of films "few reasonings, but more special effects," he said that technology has realized things that could not be expressed before, and has increased the film's attractions.

New work combines Van Gogh's "Sunflowers"

The "Detective Conan" anime series has been serialized for more than 20 years and has been in China for nearly 20 years. It is still updated weekly. After "Darkness Chaser" was released in 2010 and "Silent 15 Minutes" was released in China in 2011, the "Conan" series of movies landed again after a lapse of 4 years.

As the 19th film in the series, director Shizuno Kofumi said that the biggest attraction of "Sunflowers of Hell" is the combination of Kaito Kid and the art work "Sunflowers" by Van Gogh. On the official poster, Van Gogh's "Starry Sky" is used as the background, and the overall color tone is mainly dark blue, highlighting the mysterious and weirdness of this movie.

Shizuno Kofumi also revealed that the original screenwriter Sakurai Takeharu originally intended to use the theme for the TV version of "Detective Conan", and Aoyama Gosho thought it was good after watching it, so this movie was born. When talking about the biggest difficulty in filming this movie, the director told reporters that every time he wanted to make new breakthroughs and hoped to inject fresh blood, which was very troublesome.

"Science man" Shizuno Kongwen said that he felt the love of Conan from the fans during his visit to China, "I am very happy to be recognized by everyone." He then promised Conan fans that as long as the original author Gosho Aoyama keeps creating and as long as Conan fans are around, he will keep filming.

Everyone has their own Conan

Some critics say that the reasoning scenes in the Conan series of movies have gradually become less in recent years, and Sunflowers of Hell has introduced more and more exaggerated stunts, interspersed with scenes such as crashes, explosions, and fires. Compared with the Conan who is known for his reasoning, many netizens said: "There is less suspense and more action. Conan seems to have become an omnipotent superman." In this regard, Shizuno Kongwen believes that it is better to say that it is more interesting than some exaggerated scenes. Compared with the previous "Silent Fifteen Minutes", Sunflowers of Hell continues the characteristics of large scenes and adds some faster-paced scenes. He also explained that because of better technology, CG synthesis is combined with post-production animation, "things that could not be expressed before, now want to be fully expressed." He mentioned that the film set a record for the highest box office performance in Japan, reflecting the increase in action scenes, which is recognized by the audience.

When talking about Conan, killing and reasoning seem to have become a fixed form. When asked if he was afraid of being limited in filming, Shizuno Kongwen said that Conan's charm is far more than that. They collect various opinions and will give them back to everyone through the movie. They hope that Conan will grow with everyone. "Love scenes, reasoning scenes, action scenes, we will accept whatever everyone wants to watch."
