The manga "Nobunaga Concerto" created by cartoonist Ayumu Ishii has been well received by anime fans since its serialization. Recently, the official news was released that the live-action movie "Nobunaga Concerto" adapted from the original work of Ayumu Ishii will be released on January 23, 2016. At the same time, the first visual image of the work was also released. Leading actor Shun Oguri said at the press conference: "I have been working with this work for more than half a year. Although it feels very hard, it feels great to walk through life as Oda Nobunaga."

"Nobunaga Concerto" has been serialized in the manga magazine "Monthly Shonen Sunday" published by Shogakukan since 2009, and 12 volumes of the single volume have been published. The story tells the story of Saburo, a high school student who hates studying and has no interest in Japanese history. One day, he suddenly travels through time and arrives in the Warring States Period. There he meets the frail Oda Nobunaga himself, who looks exactly like Saburo. So Nobunaga asks Saburo to take his place as "Oda Nobunaga"... Saburo, who has no idea about the development of history, begins his bold and unrestrained journey of struggle in troubled times.
