According to the latest magazine information, the "AA Project" of "Aria the Scarlet Ammo" will make a major announcement on a radio program next month. "Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA" is a spin-off manga of "Aria the Scarlet Ammo", with Aria and her friends' junior, a girl who is also a butcher, Mamiya Akari as the protagonist. It was later reverse-written into a novel by the original novel's author Akamatsu Chungaku and illustrator Kobuichi.

"Aria the Scarlet Ammo" tells the story of Kinji Toyama, a sophomore student in the detective department of Tokyo Butei High School (a special school that trains detectives who use force, collectively known as "Butei"), and Kanzaki H. Aria, a super elite in the assault department, who is also known as "Double Swords and Double Guns Aria", fighting against evil forces. This series has 18 volumes published, with cumulative sales of over 5 million copies. The manga adapted from this work is also serialized in "Monthly Comic Alive" and "Young Gangan" magazines. In 2011, it was adapted into a TV animation by JCSTAFF and aired from April to June of the same year, with a total of 12 episodes.
