CATDOLL: Takashi Murakami personally supervises the TV animation "6HP (Six Hearts Princess)" to be broadcast in 2016

According to the latest issue of the Japanese magazine "Art Hand Post", the TV animation "Six Hearts Princess", planned, designed and supervised by Takashi Uemura, will begin airing in 2016. Currently, there is little information about the TV animation "6HP (Six Hearts Princess)", only a promotional video was released in 2013, and the basic production staff have been announced.

Takashi Murakami is one of the most influential Japanese artists born after the 1960s. He is not only a widely loved artist in Japan, but also an idol of the new generation of young people in Japan. He is strongly aware that Western contemporary art is completely different from Japanese artistic creation. What is important is how our generation can create the most essential things without relying on any inherent cultural system. Therefore, his works not only integrate the opposing elements between Eastern tradition and Western civilization, and between high art and popular culture, but also retain the entertainment and appreciation of his works. It is a product that combines the characteristics of contemporary Japanese popular cartoon art and traditional Japanese painting style. The fun of his works is worth mentioning.
