CATDOLL: Hayao Miyazaki's animated film "The Wind Rises" will be released as a comic book

The manga version of "The Wind Rises", the farewell animated film of Japanese animation master Hayao Miyazaki, has been serialized in "Monthly Model Graphix" and ended five years ago. Now the manga version of "The Wind Rises" has decided to launch a single volume, which will be issued in 9 volumes, each with 45 pages. In addition to the manga, the single volume also includes related reports and articles published in "Model Graphix" from April 2009 to January 2010, and "Model Graphix"'s sister magazine "SCALE AVIATION", and has opened a column unique to the single volume.

Unlike the open-ended film version, the comic version will give a more definite ending. The A4-sized full-color version will have 80 pages and is priced at 2,160 yen (tax included), and is scheduled to be released in early September this year.
