"Wonderful Stories of the World" will launch a special episode for its 25th anniversary. One of the projects is a collaboration with the animation "ONE PIECE", which will enable the dream combination of popular actor Hiroshi Abe and Luffy from "ONE PIECE" to perform on the same stage.

The title of this special performance is "Rubber Man". Plot summary: A man named Kito (played by Hiroshi Abe) who was injured and unable to walk after a gang fight accidentally ate the rubber fruit while in the hospital. Kito, who used the power of rubber to cheer himself up, was regarded as a nuisance by the group. Kito met Luffy, and while resisting the organization, he also remembered important things that he had almost forgotten...

Regarding this performance, Abe Hiroshi commented: "I am very happy to be able to appear in the 25th anniversary program after 24 years. I can't imagine what it will be like to perform with Luffy from "ONE PIECE". I have never had such experience, but I am very happy to have completed it. I am looking forward to appearing with the animation in the future."
