Recently, a netizen broke the news on Weibo that the bullet screen website Acfun encountered a crisis again after being sued by Youku for copyright infringement, and several of its former senior executives were reportedly detained. According to the details described by the netizen, Acfun's largest shareholder, Alpha Animation, parachuted senior executives into Acfun in December 2014; at the same time, Youku sent a copyright letter to Acfun, but this incident did not attract the attention of the new senior executives. Afterwards, Youku formally sued Acfun for copyright infringement. In response to Youku's lawsuit, Acfun's new senior executives attributed the infringement incident to Acfun's former senior executives, which also led to the criminal detention of several former senior executives of Acfun in their personal names.

In response to the rumor, a former Acfun employee came out to reveal: "Now, except for a few people who were forced to stay because of the handover agreement, almost all of the original Acfun technical team has resigned. That's right. The editorial team is basically in the same situation. I know this ending is really a tragedy. Before this, I sincerely hoped that the Beijing team could continue smoothly. Now I really can't stand it anymore."

At the same time, a related "Memorandum of Understanding for Infringement" was circulated online. According to the content of the agreement, this should be an agreement drafted between Acfun and the former executives involved in this case. If the content of the agreement is true, it can confirm that its former executives have indeed been criminally detained.
