"Love Live!" (ラブライブ!) is a two-dimensional idol project jointly created by Japanese animation production company SUNRISE, music publisher Lantis and monthly magazine Dengeki G'smagazine. A traditional high school "Otonokizaka Academy" located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, is facing the crisis of closing down due to a sharp drop in the number of students enrolled. Nine girls came up with a clever plan - to become idols. As long as they become idols, the school's reputation will increase, and the number of students enrolled will also increase. In this way, nine girls with distinct personalities decided to work hard together to become idols, hoping to increase the number of students with the popularity of idols to save their favorite campus.
