CATDOLL: "GAMBA and Friends" 3DCG animation reveals new visual image

The 3DCG animated theatrical version of "GAMBA and Friends" will be released in Japan on October 10. The latest visual image shows the protagonist GAMBA and his friend Mabuke lost in the human world. GAMBA can be seen jumping happily on a can of beverage on the roadside, while Mabuke, with sausages wrapped around his neck, is almost stepped on by a human. Unfortunately, the story of GAMBA and Mabuke entering the human world will not appear in this animated theatrical version. Everyone can only imagine their adventures in the human world through this visual image.

"GAMBA and Friends" is adapted from the classic work "Adventurers GAMBA and 15 Friends" by Japanese children's literature writer Atsushi Saito. The original work has previously launched TV animation and theatrical animation, and is very popular in Japan. The biggest difference between "GAMBA and Friends" and its predecessor is that this is a 3DCG work, and the production team of this work is the White Group, which is responsible for the hit 3DCG animation "STAND BY ME Doraemon".

This time, the White Group will use the most advanced video technology to bring an adventure story of little mice uniting to defeat a powerful enemy. This project was conceived 15 years ago, and the production time is as long as 10 years, with a total production cost of 2 billion yen (about 100 million yuan). It is definitely a big production worth looking forward to. Moreover, this is the first new work in the "GAMBA" series after 24 years since the theatrical animation "GAMBA and Minase's Adventure" was released in 1991.
