Today (February 6), the official announced that Takahashi Rumiko's classic manga "Inuyasha" will also be launched as a stage play. At the same time, the list of leading actors and the final makeup photos of the male protagonist Inuyasha were also announced. The original author Takahashi Rumiko also expressed her great anticipation for the effect of the "Inuyasha" stage play.

Inuyasha will be played by Kiya Takeyu, a member of the Japanese music band Kinbaku, while Kagome and Kikyo will be played by Nogizaka46 idols Wakatsuki Yumi and Ito Junna respectively. Other important characters such as Miroku, Naraku, and Seshomaru are played by professional stage actors. The stage play of "Inuyasha" is scheduled to be performed at the Tennoshu Ginga Theater from April 6 to 15.
