The anime and game related industries can be said to be one of the pillar industries in Japan. In recent years, they have been increasingly valued by Japanese society. More and more Japanese universities have begun to focus on the training of talents in the field of the second dimension. Previously, a Japanese university used the light novel "Sword Art Online" as a Chinese textbook, and now Japan's Senzoku Gakuen College of Music will open an anime song course, the purpose of which is to train future voice actors for Japan. Many of the graduates of Senzoku Gakuen College of Music are musical actors. This is a school that has produced many famous actors. Starting next year, this university will offer anime song courses to cultivate voice actor talents. Although Japan already has many specialized voice actor training schools, this is the first time in Japan that a course to train voice actors has been offered in a music university. The university began preparing for the opening of this course last year. In recent years, voice actors often have to sing anime songs. From this perspective, the university decided to offer a new course on anime songs. Since the end of last year, the university has already begun to make certain necessary contacts with the voice actor industry. The university's new 6-story teaching building was just completed in August. The new teaching building has a rehearsal room and dance studio of about 300 square meters with excellent sound insulation. Here, students can train their pronunciation and practice dance moves. Eventually, through learning, they can become a bright new star who can perform well in public performances. The teacher lineup of this course includes the voice actor Nakao Takashi, who dubbed Frieza in the Dragon Ball series, and singer MIQ. The person in charge of this course is Professor Matsuo Yutaka, a director of the Japan Contemporary Music Association. Professor Matsuo said: "Animation music is different from jazz and classical music. We welcome students who want to laugh at the world with their own voices, lines, and songs." The self-recommendation examination for this course has begun, and the number of students expected to be recruited for this course is 470. In fact, this course is to move the professional courses of the voice actor training school to the university. In any case, this also reflects that Japanese higher education is gradually paying attention to the field of the second dimension. In fact, there are similar dubbing majors in Chinese universities, but it seems rare to teach not only dubbing but also singing. |
