The first chapter of the manga Tokyo Ghoul, written and drawn by Sui Ishida, will be published in color, as well as new illustrations, in the October issue of the magazine MEN'S NON-NO (Shueisha) to be released on September 10. The magazine will also feature interviews with Kubota Masataka, who plays Kaneki Ken in the live-action movie Tokyo Ghoul, which is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2017, Shimizu Fumika, who plays Kirishima Touka, and the original author Ishida. Ishida himself talked about the reason for redrawing the first episode in an interview, saying, "It has been five years since the serialization of Tokyo Ghoul began, and I thought about whether I could convey some new information to people who haven't read this work yet, so I redrawn the first episode." The cover of the magazine has been released on its official website, and more information will be released in the future. For more relevant information, please pay attention to: Tokyo Ghoul Zone |
