CATDOLL: The main cast of the live-action movie "Moriyama Junior High School" adapted from the comics has been revealed

The live-action movie adapted from the manga "Moriyama Nakagakure" revealed its cast and actors on October 25, and it is confirmed to be released in Japan in 2016.

"Moriyama Junior High School" is the first serialized work by Shinzo Keigo published in Monthly Spirits (Shogakukan) from 2009 to 2010. It tells the summer story of two high school classmates, Sato Kiyokaka, a self-willed college student, and Todoroki, a poker-faced cold-blooded gangster, who enter an unofficial training school because of something. In the live-action movie version, Nomura Shuhei plays Sato Kiyokaka and Kaku Kento plays Todoroki.

The director of the live-action version is Keisuke Toyoshima, who has directed the "Battle of the Tennis Boys" and "Majisuka Gakuen" series. When talking about Nomura Shuhei and Kiyotaka, he said: "Although Kiyotaka, who does his own thing, looks a bit naive, he has his own thoughts. I am sure that such a difficult role will definitely produce a chemical reaction with Nomura Shuhei's sensitivity and courage." As for the reason for choosing Kento Kaku to play Todoroki, Keisuke Toyoshima said: "In the movie "Battle of the Tennis Boys", he plays a genius character who is eccentric but not annoying. From his performance at the time, you can see his unique clumsiness and shadow-like things, which is very suitable for the role of Todoroki."

In addition to the two leading actors mentioned above, the other actors who will appear in this work have also been confirmed. Yukino Kishii plays Matsuda, the classmate who dumped Kiyotaka, Ken Mitsuishi plays the president of the underworld organization that Todoroki belongs to, and Kumiko Aso plays the instructor of the Moriyama Training School where Kiyotaka and Todoroki enter. In addition, there are Jugo Tera, Mayumi Sato, Jion Minion Pei, Daisuke Kuroda, Takuma Otoo, Dan Kan, and Kiyo Negishi. Finally, the music of this work will be handled by the band GOODLUCK HEIWA, and the script will be jointly written by screenwriter Kiyomi Wada and supervisor Keisuke Toyoshima.
