CATDOLL: "Your Lie in April" live-action movie to be released in 2016

In the early morning of today (September 4), the official announcement of "Your Lie in April" was made that a live-action movie of the work will be produced; it will be released in 2016. The actors who play the male and female protagonists, as well as Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryota Watari, have been confirmed; the actress who plays the female protagonist, Suzu Hirose, has played the female protagonist of the live-action version of "Chihayafuru" before; I believe that with the previous experience, she will be able to better handle this role this time;

In fact, when the Japanese film production and distribution company Toho registered the domain name related to the movie "Your Lie in April", some people speculated whether a live-action version of the work would be made. It seems that the answer has now been revealed.

In order to play this role well, Suzu Hirose started practicing violin and piano half a year ago. She said that she struggled with the violin every day just to understand the free and unrestrained personality of Kaori Miyazono. The male protagonist Kousei Arima will be played by Kenichi Yamazaki, and Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryota Watari will be played by Anna Ishii and Daishi Nakagawa respectively.
