The 10th volume of the manga "Himuko Umaru-chan" will be released in April 2017, and the synopsis of the new OAD animation bundled with it has been announced. The story will be divided into two chapters, with the themes of "birthday date" and "Himuko graduation".

According to the official introduction, this OAD animation has adapted two chapters from the serialized manga that caused a huge response. "Himusume: Umaru-chan" is a manga written by "Triangle Head". The adapted animation was broadcast as a new series in July 2015. The story is set in Hachioji City, Tokyo. The protagonist is a "himusume: Umaru-chan" who is a demure and noble top student outside, but immediately becomes a "himusume: Umaru-chan" who stays at home and loves ACG when she returns home. The plot revolves around Umaru-chan, her brother Taihei who takes care of her life, and the daily life between her friends.
