CATDOLL: "Initial D New Theatrical Version Legend 3 Yumegen" will be released on February 6, 2016

The third movie of "Initial D" "Initial D New Theatrical Version Legend 3 Yumegen" will be released on February 6, 2016. This movie is about Takahashi Ryosuke and his car MAZDA RX-7FC3S, and will be the final chapter of the animation series.

In addition, the BD of "Initial D New Theatrical Version Legend 2: Tousou" which was released on May 23rd is divided into three types: deluxe edition, limited edition and normal edition, and will be released on November 4th this year. The deluxe edition includes a three-sided sealed paper box, a voice-controlled car (AE 86), a mini script, Takahashi Keisuke's driver's license and stage images, and other bonuses, and is priced at 13,932 yen; the limited edition is priced at 7,344 yen (excluding the voice-controlled car), and the normal edition is priced at 5,378 yen (no bonus).

"Initial D" is a Japanese youth manga with the theme of mountain road racing drawn by cartoonist Shuichi Shigeno. It was serialized in Kodansha's comic magazine "Weekly YOUNG MAGAZINE" from 1995 to 2013. 48 volumes of the comic have been sold, with cumulative sales of more than 46.8 million copies. It has been adapted into an animation and movie of the same name, and there are also many peripheral books discussing car driving skills.

The "Initial D" animation series had aired 5 TV seasons and several OVAs between 1998 and 2014, and was very popular. "Initial D New Theatrical Edition" is a series of new theatrical animations launched in 2014. The new theatrical version uses a different production and voice actor lineup from the previous TV animation series, with a total of three parts. The first part, "Legend1 -Awakening-", was released on August 23, 2014 after the final season of the TV animation "Initial D Final Stage" ended; the second part, "Legend2 -Tousou-", and the third part, "Legend3 -Yumen-" were released on May 23, 2015.

Initial D is a story about Takumi Fujiwara, who is born with racing skills, and the fastest racing youths on the road.
