I believe that many people who love to read comics or novels and other physical books hope to have a study room of their own, where they can store their favorite books. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Many readers can only live in a small space and have a hard time organizing these books. Recently, Japanese furniture manufacturer IKEA has created a "room suitable for comic readers" specifically for comic readers. Through IKEA furniture, small spaces can also play a big role.
"Be surrounded by your favorite comics, and create a world that belongs only to you" is the design concept this time. In order to expand the influence, IKEA invited Reiko Sokawa, the exclusive model of the fashion magazine "CHOKi CHOKi GiRLS", to conduct on-site promotion. Sokawa herself is also an out-and-out comic fan. Therefore, in addition to participating in the photography this time, she also put forward her own opinions on the design of the room.
Although saving space is a good thing, stacking a large number of books on top of one another may damage the books on the lower layers. I guess many comic fans will not like this approach.
The comic cabinets are divided into categories, so you can also make some space to display your favorite models. In the exhibition area, the staff placed dolls from "Sailor Moon" and "Cardcaptor Sakura".
In this small space, comic fans can choose the comics they want to read at will, and then sit on the bed and spend a relaxing time.
IKEA also placed slogans on the walls of the exhibition area to express the thoughts of comic fans:
