The Monogatari Series is a series of light novels written by Japanese light novel writer Nisio Isin and illustrated by Taiwanese illustrator VOFAN (real name Dai Yuanheng). The work is set in a small town in Japan in the early 21st century, depicting a high school boy "Araragi Koyomi" and the girls encountering many strange stories of Japanese folk legends.
