CATDOLL: The animated film "Rudolph and Ibayi Atena" will be released in Japan in August

This summer, cute pets are back! The 3D animated film "Rudolph and Ibaiyi Atena", adapted from the novel by Hiroshi Saito, has officially been scheduled to be released in Japan on August 6.

"Rudolph and Ibaiyi Atena" is a novel written by Saito Hiroshi. Rudolph, a black cat living in Gifu, was suddenly separated from his owner and became a wild cat that no one wanted. He got on a long-distance truck and came to the metropolis of Tokyo. Here he met the scariest big Persian cat on the street! Under the guidance of the Persian cat, he embarked on a learning journey of stray cats. Since the novel was published in 1987, the cumulative sales of the novel have exceeded 1 million copies. It is reported that this animated film will be co-directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, who once directed the "Pokemon" movie, and Mikinori Sakakibara, who once directed "Ninja Slayer". Mao Inoue, Ryo Suzuki and others will voice the characters in the animation.

In the film, two adorable cats love and hate each other. Although the plot of their adventure together is a bit old-fashioned, their super cute image will surely win the hearts of movie fans when the film is released.
