According to foreign media reports, at around 21:50 yesterday night (October 8), a maid cafe (黒猫メイド魔法カフェ) in Nakawa-cho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima, Japan, caught fire, burning a total of about 600 square meters and affecting three buildings. Three people have been killed and many injured. The dead were a maid, an employee and a customer in the store. Two other maids and male customers were also seriously injured. At least five people have been treated in the hospital. According to the city fire department, the building was constructed in 1948 and has wooden floors. According to the police, the maid cafe is located between the first and second floors, and there are bars and residents upstairs and downstairs. When the fire started, there were about 11 or 12 people in the cafe, including customers and employees. It is not clear whether more residents were involved. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is closely related to fire prevention awareness. After all, most Japanese buildings are made of wood to prevent earthquakes. Once a fire breaks out, the consequences are really unimaginable!
