CATDOLL: The domestic manga "Domino Killer" will be published in Shonen Jump for the first time. Is there hope for serialization?

For many comic fans, the Chinese cartoonist Di Nian Miao is definitely not a strange name. His comic works "Five Seconds Fairy Tale" and "The Kingdom of Ten Again" have been published on Shueisha's electronic comic platform "Shonen Jump+" and have been widely praised by Japanese comic fans. Especially the comic "The Kingdom of Ten Again", Japanese cartoonist Yoshihiro Togashi also praised this work and the author Di Nian Miao. Now there is another good news, that is, the original short comic "Domino Killer" by Chinese cartoonist Di Nian Miao will be published in the "Weekly Shonen Jump" released yesterday (December 14), and Di Nian Miao has also become the first Chinese cartoonist to land on "Weekly Shonen Jump" with his original works.

"Weekly Shonen Jump" is published by Shueisha in Japan. "One Piece", "Dragon Ball", "Naruto", "Slam Dunk", "Hunter x Hunter", "Rurouni Kenshin", these "god-level" works are all widely known through serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump". Therefore, whether in the hearts of people who read or draw comics, "Weekly Shonen Jump" is the altar in their hearts. Since its founding in 1968, "Weekly Shonen Jump" has only accepted hand-drawn manuscripts from authors. This is a great advantage for Di Nian Miao, because he once said: "I only know how to draw by hand, and I still don't know how to use a digital drawing board."

Di Nian Miao, whose real name is Hu Wei, was born in 1985. Di Nian Miao said that he could draw comics when he was very young, and he taught himself to draw because he liked it. Previously, Di Nian Miao's "Five Seconds Fairy Tale" and "The Kingdom of Ten Again" were successively published on Shueisha's electronic comic platform "Weekly Shonen Jump+" and received wide acclaim from Japanese comic fans. As a result, Shueisha successively launched the Japanese version of these two works in Japan, which also created a good market foundation for the publication of "Domino Killer". The successful landing of the short comic "Domino Killer" on "Weekly Shonen Jump" is also a good opportunity. I hope that this work can be loved by readers and can be serialized for a long time.
