CATDOLL: Shueisha and Animax jointly hold an animation script competition. Don't miss the opportunity if you have a dream.

In order to discover talents with the ability to create animation scripts, the two giants Shueisha and Animax held a joint event "Shonen JUMP + Animax Animation Script Award". This event will start accepting applications this month. Animax has previously held various competitions involving images, scripts, and animation songs in order to recruit talents. It can be seen that they are committed to talent training. This time, the joint event with Shueisha is to provide new talents with an opportunity to realize their dreams. Even if you are in China or studying in Japan, you may as well give it a try if you are interested. The results of this competition will be officially announced in August 2015.

This competition will provide various assistance to applicants to achieve their professional debut. The winning work will be adapted into a manga on "Shonen JUMP+" operated by the editorial department of Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen JUMP". And the work will also be adapted into an animation and broadcast by Animax. The dual stimulation of the original manga + TV animation script will definitely give the contestants the opportunity to become professional scriptwriters. This time, the event did not give a specific proposition, but used the name of the magazine "Shonen JUMP" as the selection criteria, which is a very rare form. The script of the work is also limited to original scripts that have never been published, and the length of one episode must be about 30 to 40 minutes. The entries will go through multiple rounds of review, and the final review committee will determine the winning work in August 2015. The prize money is as high as 2 million yen.

Starting from mid-January 2015, this event can be registered through the relevant website by email, and works can also be mailed in. The registration deadline is March 31, 2015. The final judges include the editor-in-chief of Weekly Shonen Jump, cartoonists, animation scriptwriters, etc.

What do you think of when you mention Shonen Jump? Then use your creativity to write an original script in this style, and you can also become an animation script writer!
