CATDOLL: The genius director has decided to make a live-action movie of "Alien on Mars"

According to the news in the magazine "Weekly Young Jump" published by Shueisha, the science fiction manga "Martian Species" written by Yu Takaie and illustrated by Kenichi Tachibana will be adapted into a live-action movie. The genius director Takashi Miike, who is widely known for a series of controversial films such as "The Devil Calls", "Lesson of the Evil" and "Shield of Straw", will direct the live-action version of "Martian Species". The plot of "Alien on Mars" is about making Mars habitable for human habitation. It depicts the modified algae and cockroaches that regard them as food and have strong reproductive ability, which are experimentally placed on Mars by humans in the mid-21st century. However, after these cockroaches have evolved, they attack humans, so 15 selected earthlings board a manned spacecraft and embark on a journey to drive out the alien cockroaches. The TV animation version of this work was broadcast from September to December last year, with a total of 13 episodes.
