CATDOLL: Introduction to the new show "Your Lie in April" in October 2014

At noitaminA's 10th anniversary event "noitaminA Press Conference 2014 ~10th Anniversary~", it was announced that the manga "Your Lie in April" will be adapted into a TV animation. The animation will be a semi-annual series and will premiere in October this year.

The production team of the animation has been announced, and the first trailer PV has been revealed. The animation will be produced by A-1 Pictures, and the animation director is Ishiguro Kyohei, who has participated in the production of works such as "Fairy Tail" and "PSYCHO-PASS". The series composition and script of the animation will be written by Yoshioka Takao, the screenwriter of "Zero no Tsukaima", "Ikki Tousen", and "HighSchoolDXD", and the character design of the animation will be Yukiko Aikyou, the character design of "Accel World"!

The manga has been serialized since 2011 and has sold 8 volumes, winning the Kodansha Manga Award in the Shonen category. The story tells the story of a middle school boy (pianist) and a girl (violinist) who have rare talents and work hard together to grow up.
