The long-awaited animated film "Kung Fu Panda 3" will be released worldwide on January 29. Yesterday (January 8), the production company held a global press conference for the theme song of "Kung Fu Panda 3" in Beijing. Jay Chou and his beloved apprentice Pai Weijun attended the event together. "Try", the global theme song of "Kung Fu Panda 3", was produced by Jay Chou and composed by Pai Weijun. The master and apprentice sang together. This is also the first time that Jay Chou and his apprentice have collaborated on a movie theme song.

"Try", the global theme song of the animated film "Kung Fu Panda 3":

Regarding the global theme song "Try", Jay Chou revealed that this is the second time he has made an exception to compose music for a movie that he is not starring in, following "Huo Yuanjia", which shows his love for the dragon warrior Po. "Kung Fu Panda 3" global theme song "Try" has both English and Chinese lyrics, which is rare in Hollywood blockbusters. Jay Chou said that the Chinese lyrics were written by Fang Wenshan, and he thinks it is great. There are also many Chinese elements in the MV, and he hopes that foreigners will think Chinese culture is "cool" after watching it.

Jay Chou emphasized that "Try" is the global theme song of "Kung Fu Panda 3", which is an important reason that touched him, "because it allows audiences around the world to hear Chinese music." Jay Chou also revealed that he has always had difficulty communicating with others in music, "my territory is my own", so he rarely collaborates with others to create music. This time he generously gave the music to Pai Weijun to do, and he only served as the producer, which can be regarded as an exception for "Kung Fu Panda 3" and Pai Weijun.

The music of "Try" was composed by Jay Chou's favorite disciple Pai Weijun, who was only 16 years old. Pai Weijun said that the melody of the song came to him suddenly while he was taking a shower. The song was named "Try" to express Po's spirit of "falling down and getting up again".
