CATDOLL: Hayao Miyazaki's "Castle in the Sky" manuscript sold at a sky-high price, true faith value of 20 million

There is a habit in Japan of auctioning off many collectible items online, including various anime-related items. We have heard of various promotional images, film reels and other items being sold at sky-high prices before. Now, a set of Hayao Miyazaki's "Castle in the Sky" manuscripts have really been sold at sky-high prices. On a Japanese auction website, six original drawings of "Castle in the Sky" that Hayao Miyazaki personally modified were sold at a sky-high price of 20.5 million yen (about RMB 1.2177 million). It is really amazing that the master's handwriting is indeed extraordinary.

The initial price of this set of manuscripts was not too high, at 80,000 yen (about 4,752 yuan), but after 291 bids, the final transaction price was as high as 20.5 million yen, which scared many onlookers. This set of manuscripts has a total of 6 sheets, each measuring 235×350mm, all of which were personally modified by Hayao Miyazaki, and also come with a certificate, so there is no need to worry about paying a high price for a fake. The painting depicts the classic scene of the male protagonist playing the trumpet, and the master's vivid brushstrokes seem to bring people back to that moment in the animation.
