The new July anime "Dragon Ball: Super" has won a lot of attention from the audience, and the North Kai King in the play has also been well received for his funny image and humorous tone. However, recently, the official announced that the voice actor of the North Kai King needs to recuperate due to his advanced age, and the voice actor will be changed in the next plot.

The official also issued a notice to explain the matter: "Dragon Ball Super's voice actor, Mr. Yanami Jōji, who voices the North King and the narrator, needs to recuperate, so starting from episode 12, the dubbing work will be changed to Mr. Tatsuta Naoki. Regarding Mr. Yanami Jōji's return, we will study it based on his recovery and after consultation with him. In this regard, the crew members are looking forward to Mr. Yanami Jōji's recovery, and please continue to support us as always."

Yanami Jōji was born on August 30, 1931. He is now over 84 years old. He is one of the few veteran voice actors in the early days of Japanese TV animation. He has participated in the dubbing of many classic works such as "One Piece", "Saint Seiya", and "Inuyasha".
