CATDOLL: Japanese famous cartoonist Naoki Urasawa was exposed to have an affair with a female editor

Recently, it seems that the Japanese comics industry is not peaceful. Yesterday (October 10), a Japanese gossip magazine said that it would report the news that a well-known cartoonist had cheated on his wife. Now the details have been released. Cartoonist Naoki Urasawa (56 years old), who created well-known comics such as "20th Century Boys" and "Monster", and a female editor (50 years old) both cheated on his wife.

On August 22, after attending an event, Naoki Urasawa went to an Italian restaurant after 7pm, and the woman who had lunch with Naoki Urasawa before appeared. After dinner, it started raining outside, and the two first shared an umbrella, and then went to a convenience store to buy umbrellas before separating. After 8pm, the woman entered a love hotel alone, and about 1 minute later, Naoki Urasawa also entered the hotel. The paparazzi secretly photographed the evidence of the two entering the love hotel.

According to an insider, the woman is Ms. A, who is in her early 50s and works for a large publishing house. She came into contact with Urasawa Naoki through a magazine project several years ago. Although she has left the editing industry, she is a very capable person, so she still interacts with cartoonists and writers. Another insider said that Ms. A has a husband who works in the same company.

Naoki Urasawa has won the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award twice and is the main guest of the NHK TV program "Naoki Urasawa's Manga". His comic work "20th Century Boys" has been made into 3 movies and has achieved high box office revenue. His talent is widely recognized in Japanese society. This exposure is expected to have a significant impact. Naoki Urasawa has a wife and they have a daughter. In other words, Naoki Urasawa and Miss A both have families but both cheated. I wonder how Naoki Urasawa will respond to this.
