Recently, it was announced on a TV program of NHK that Hayao Miyazaki's new short animation "The Caterpillar Pineapple" will be broadcast on NHK TV on November 13.

This work was actually mentioned in 2015, saying that Miyazaki was making a short animation at the time, but the animation production department of Ghibli had been disbanded at the time, so this short animation was jointly produced by Miyazaki and the "STEVE N'STEVEN" team. It was also specifically mentioned that this short animation was Miyazaki's first challenge to use CG technology to make a short animation.
