The cover of the eighth volume of the manga "Gakuen-lonely Island", written by Norimitsu Umiho and illustrated by Sador Chiba and serialized in Houbunsha's "Manga Time Kirara Forward" magazine, has been revealed and is expected to be released on August 10, 2016.

The Japanese title of the work "がっこうぐらし!" and the English title "SCHOOL-LIVE!" both mean "school life". The entire work also uses a cute style to portray the protagonists, which forms a sharp contrast with the doomsday survival theme of the work.

The original author, Haifa Jiguang, once mentioned that he hoped to create a work that was different from the traditional zombie theme that focused on combat, and depicted the school life of the characters who were trying to survive in the daily life that had disappeared.
