SARFT: Notice on the filing of domestic TV animation production in September

Recently, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television issued a notice on the filing of domestic TV animation production in September 2016. A total of 36 animations were approved and filed, with a total duration of 19,293 minutes! From the list of works published by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, fairy tale-themed works are more favored by animation companies, ranking first with an overwhelming total of 47.2% (17 works).

According to the subject matter, there are 2 historical themes with a total length of 1,260 minutes, accounting for 5.6% and 6.5% of the total number of registered films; 17 fairy tale themes with a total length of 9,200 minutes, accounting for 47.2% and 47.7% of the total number of registered films; 7 educational themes with a total length of 3,734 minutes, accounting for 19.4% and 19.4% of the total number of registered films; 3 realistic themes with a total length of 3,484 minutes, accounting for 8.3% and 18.1% of the total number of registered films; 1 science fiction theme with a total length of 50 minutes, accounting for 2.8% and 0.3% of the total number of registered films; 1 mythology theme with a total length of 260 minutes, accounting for 2.8% and 1.3% of the total number of registered films; 5 other themes with a total length of 1,305 minutes, accounting for 13.9% and 6.8% of the total number of registered films.
