The original work of "Devil's Secret" is a comic work serialized in "Newtype". The popular manga artist Takagawa Yumi, who was in charge of character design in "Mobile Suit Gundam 00", is the original author, and Jun Minami is in charge of the drawings. The story takes place in a boarding-based girls' high school. A class of 12 assassins all want to kill their classmate Ichinose Haru.
